Dreamy Clouds Inc. ("we", "us", "our"), the operator of ReviewMonk ("the Service"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding it.

Who this applies to: This policy covers two groups of people: Business Owners who register a business on ReviewMonk, and End Customers who scan a QR code and leave feedback for a business using ReviewMonk. We treat these differently below where relevant.

Information We Collect

From Business Owners

• Business name, business type, address, and contact details submitted during registration.
• Owner/staff name, email address, and phone number.
• Payment details — processed entirely by our payment partner, Razorpay; we do not store your card, UPI, or bank details ourselves.
• Google Business review link, brand logo, and brand color, if you choose to provide them.

From End Customers (people leaving feedback)

• Star rating (always collected).
• Feedback message (optional).
• Name and WhatsApp number (always optional — never required to submit feedback).

Automatically collected

• IP address and basic device/browser information, used only for security purposes (e.g., preventing spam and abuse) and never for advertising or tracking.
• Session cookies required for you to stay logged in — we do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information above to provide and operate the Service; process payments and manage subscriptions; send you service-related communications (e.g., login verification, low-rating alerts, review request messages) via email and WhatsApp; respond to support requests; detect and prevent fraud or abuse; and comply with legal obligations, including tax and accounting requirements under Indian law.

How We Share Information

We share information only with the service providers necessary to run ReviewMonk, and never sell personal data to third parties for marketing purposes:

• Razorpay (for payment processing)
• WhatsApp Business API / SMS providers (for sending review requests and notifications you or your customers opt into)
• Hosting and infrastructure providers (to run the Service)

We may disclose information if required to do so by law or a valid legal request from an Indian governmental authority.

Data Retention

• Active account data is retained for as long as your account remains active.
• Automated backups of the database are retained on a rolling 7-daily + 4-weekly schedule.
• Upon account deletion, we will remove your data within a reasonable period, subject to what we're legally required to retain (e.g., financial records for tax purposes).

Your Rights

• End Customers can request that a business owner export or permanently erase their personal feedback data (name, phone, message) at any time — this is a real, working feature of the platform, not just a policy promise.
• Rating and date information may be retained in anonymized form for the business's own review statistics, with all personally identifying details removed.
• Business Owners can access, correct, or request deletion of their account information at any time by contacting us or through account settings.

Children's Privacy

ReviewMonk is not directed at, and should not be used by, individuals under the age of 18.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service.
